Tis the Season

The holidays sure did cause me to be super busy!  Sorry for the posting after the fact of the holiday craft time.  My class had fun making awesome Christmas crafts but sadly, half of my pictures are missing of the ones we made!  I have a few to share with you though!

The kids enjoyed placing green strips in a pattern from shortest to longest to create their Christmas trees.  They then added sequins for their ornaments!

We had fun learning all about gingerbread men.  The kids created their own gingerbread girls and boys!

Our Christmas Time door was so precious!  The kids used silver or gold heart shape doilies and their handprints to create an adorable handprint angel.

Another fun craft we made was this tree.  The kids enjoyed using their skills with patterns and created a tree gluing their pieces from shortest to longest.  Sequins were added for ornaments.

A little name practice!  Children were shown their names and were asked to glue the lights in the correct order!

And lastly, here is one of the gifts the kid made their parents.  We got white plates and made a tree handprint and thumbprint ornaments.  Then using a sponge dotter, red dots were added to the plate and I wrote the names and words for them.
