Play Doh Fun

I teach preschoolers so of course we love to have fun with Play Doh.  I try to make all kinds of different Play Doh mats to use during centers.  I made this new set of mats using numbers and ten frames.  Let the students have some fun while learning!

Back to School is Almost Here!

I'm not sure about your schools but here in Alabama, school starts back in August!  We have exactly four weeks until the first day of school.  I have been updating and getting new items ready for the new school year.

These were in my Teachers pay Teachers shop last year but have been updated for the new school year.  Click on the titles to take you to the Teachers pay Teachers store.

Terrific Toucans Alphabet Book

Each school year, I choose a different way to showcase the alphabet with the students.  Where I teach, we learn three specific letters a month.  This year, I decided to create an alphabet book.  As we learned each letter, the children created a craft using the letter.  I know you have probably seen many ideas like this on Pinterest or other websites but I wanted to share mine with you as well!  I laminated each set of letters for each child and used a binder ring to hold them all together.  I made a special cover for each child's alphabet book also.

Letter A is for Anthill and Ants
Letter B is for Bird

Letter C is for Cookies
Letter D is for Doughnuts

Letter E is for Eggs
Letter F is for Fire

Letter G is for Grapes
Letter H is for Hearts

Letter I is for Icicles
Letter J is for Jellyfish

Letter K is for Kite
Letter L is for Lamp

Letter M is for Mouse

Letter N is for Night
Letter O is for Owl

Letter P is for Popcorn
Letter Q is for Quilt

Letter R is for Road
Letter S is for Snake

Letter T is for Tree
Letter U is for Underwater

Letter V is for Volcano

Letter W is for Wagon

Letter X if Xylophone
Letter Y is for Yarn

Letter Z is for Zebra

My Apologies...

I feel like I apologize a lot to y'all for being absent!  The past year and a half has been crazy for my family.  My father has been very sick and recently passed away from ALS.  I apologize for not posting all my school fun for y'all!  I took pictures of my crafts and activities throughout the school year but never posted!  I will post what I can now and I will have plenty to add throughout the upcoming school year.
